In a historic villa in Chiusi, in the heart of Tuscany, the kitchen becomes the place where guests can truly connect with the region. The Cooking Class with Chef Katia Maccari is a hands‑on, convivial moment to learn how to make fresh pasta from simple ingredients, following the gestures and timing of Italian tradition.
During a 3‑hour cooking course, Chef Katia Maccari guides participants step by step through the preparation of homemade pasta and the sauces that best pair with it. The class starts with ingredient selection and dough making, and continues with rolling, cutting, and preparing the condiments, with a focus on basic techniques and the small details that make the difference in the kitchen.
Recipes may change according to the season or to guests’ dietary needs, while always keeping the flavours of Tuscan cuisine at the centre. At the end of the lesson, the experience moves into the restaurant dining rooms: lunch is included and features the dishes prepared together, enjoyed in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.
To keep cooking at home, guests receive a personalised recipe booklet, a participation certificate, and a complimentary apron at the end of the experience.
